French jardinière and technically the word jardinière means, "female gardener", but somehow it became synonymous with the word for a large ornamental flowerpot, in particular for an orangerie. The pair we are offering for sale, have gone through numerous Chicago Winters and have been repaired more than once, but they do have a look, that cannot be duplicated with a new planter. These were made in the south of France, with a steel frame and terracotta inserts. The steel structures are solid, but the terracotta panels have been repaired several times. Height provided includes the 2.5" tall finials.
