French Louis XVI Style Ebonized Commode

Antique French Louis XVI style commode, with its original grey marble top. Our in-house Old Plank restoration department, hand-stripped the entire antique French commode and applied a real French ebonized finish, where the grain of the mahogany and the underlying brown tones of the wood peek through the ebonized finish. The marble top does have numerous light surface scratches, that could be professionally sanded out, but our shop does not have that type of equipment. My experience is, that after they are removed, the top starts to look too new for my personal taste. There also is a small repair at one corner of the French Louis XVI commode, but you have to look to see it. This is a classic antique French Louis XVI style commode and we have several listed and more coming in on a constant basis.

CONDITION: Marble is scratched throughout and there is a repair on the right front corner, best seen in images 11 & 15. The handle on the bottom left is bent, best seen in images 17 & 18.
