Pair of all Original French Leather Club Chairs, that our in-house Old Plank upholstery department restored internally. What this means technically is, that both of the French leather club chairs were carefully disassembled and the restoration process includes; clamp and glue the wood frame, 8-way hand tie all the coil springs, add additional shredded coco or horsehair as necessary, all the while try not to disturb the original leather covering. Should we find weak or thin areas in the leather, we bond new leather on the underside for added strength. The results are a pair of French leather club chairs, that sit as comfortable as new, while maintaining the patina of 80-90-year-old leather. The labor just to do one chair averages 40-50 hours. We should mention, that we have a matching 3rd chair to this pair that is also available on our website, along with an additional 40-50 club chairs always in stock.
