We have (2) pairs, of incredible antique American Douglas-fir barn, or garage doors, that we stripped by hand in our old plank restoration department. There currently is no finish on our antique American doors, so you are basically dealing with a blank page, as far as how to treat the wood. Our best guess is, that these were removed from a late 1890s home in Illinois. Rarely, if ever, do we discover antique American barn, or garage doors of this stature, in such an incredible condition. Convert them into a headboard, or hang them on a sliding track to close off a room. Their uses are virtually endless.
