Landscape architect Edouard Redont was from Champigny sur Vesle and worked in the Department of the Marne. Redont was born 1862 and died in 1942. Redont was one of the greatest landscapers at the beginning of the 1900s and won the Gold Medal at the World's Fair of 1900, for a public park he was commissioned for. Edouard along with Henri Prost co-founded the Société Française des Urbanistes. The faux bois table has been attributed to Edouard's work and estimated to have been produced, circa 1900. **Seat height is 16.5"
