We just naturally tend to associate walking sticks or canes, as being used by “old people”. However, that was not the case prior to 1930, for they were really much more of a decorative accessory. This particular cane seems to have a shaft made from Rosewood and the handle, I believe is silver. There is a signature, that is almost impossible to read all of the name, but it starts out with; Carde__? There is what I believe is a face to the left and a diamond shape to the right and it polishes up like silver.
