Seems like every family has one black sheep and ours is no different. Now available in either resin, or solid bronze as shown. These sheep pay homage to the French sculptors, Les Lalanne’ s. Famous for his surreal sheep and animal sculptures, Lalanne worked with his wife, Claude Lalanne, whom he met in the 1950s. Claude preferred plant life, while Francois-Xavier preferred animals, that he would cast in bronze and attach to wooden bucks (frames) and wrapped in real sheep fur. François-Xavier Lalanne, French Artist, 1927–2008.
