French Ebonized Mahogany Antique Desk Chair

Antique French solid mahogany desk chair in a beautiful ebonized finish that lets the warm brown tones of the wood to gently peek through the black. The seat cushion is old leather with new padding underneath and the frame has been properly tightened up. When we freshened the upholstery, we actually glued a heavy fabric to the backside of the old leather to prevent it from cracking and pulling apart. No short cuts taken here. Now ready for the next 100 years of service.
