French Antique Mahogany Desk with Great Hand Carved Wood Paw Feet, circa 1880

Beautiful antique French writing desk, made from mahogany with French white oak drawer interiors, circa 1880-1900. All the drawers have been thoroughly restored, and all locks actually function, with their own keys like they were intended to. Note the one with the built in cubby on the right side. The leather is original, and although not perfect, certainly looks the part with a great patina. The mahogany surfaces have been French polished, and the hand carved wood paw feet just make the desk really quite special.
